Listen carefully as this will not be repeated ever again and holds the key to your victory. You have all been gathered this evening as an experiment. Most of you have been selected as beta players because of your exceptional personalities and skills in previous video games, professionals if you wish to call yourself . Others of you are noobs as the gamer world will undoubtedly call you for the next few months to come but you too are important to this experiment.
Not even the developing programmer, graphic designers, or musician have known about the true goal behind this game. Never before have any of you played a Death Game, so greetings and enjoy your new life. You all are probably asking why me how could this be possible, but it is true you are now trapped within this universe that I have constructed for astute reasons. You are all beta testers that I have selected from all positions, ages, and genders in our real world. This Nerve Gear that you have voluntarily worn has essentially kidnapped you from the real world and into this virtual one. Those who are now checking to log off will make an interesting discovery that the log out button is missing and has been as of the beginning of this speech as those who try to exit will die by cardiac arrest. On the notion of logging off those who are unplugged forcibly from the outside world will also die. As of now you are probably all panicking which will only lead to an earlier demise, but fear not as the key to your release is survival and teamwork.
The objective for all of you is simple, climb through the grueling 100 levels developing ourselves both mentally and spiritually. Some of you started this journey off thinking that this was all just a game but now you are locked in with the rest of your 1000 brothers and sisters with no means of escape. This game was made for those of you who have wished to lose yourselves in an adventure so enjoy yourselves during this visit.
Daughters and sons, mothers and fathers, friend and foe all now share the same fate and goal while trapped in this marvelous world unconcealed now by the avatars you hid your identity with. Embrace yourselves physically and mentally for the first time in your lives. The options are endless and the treasures abundant. All of the emotions and fears that you face here will affect your real body so stay on your guard as any moment could be your last; keep your friends close and your enemies in the ground as the their are monsters amongst you as a few of you were plucked from deaths row as a second change. Don't mess up otherwise your executions may still come. This world was made and designed for you to govern so do with it as you please. Without further adieu let the games begin!”
